Red day 5
Thanks for the birthday wishes girls. Had a fantastic day, with arguably Sydney's most perfect weather this Autumn. Another red page from me, done a few years ago. For a more recent red event of mine, see this post here.
Red rocks!

I see red, I see red, I see red
I have pulled out an oldie for my red page.
And I love that I have used these "less than perfect" photos...they tell the real story of us as a family.
Pop Quiz time
Who sang the song with the words of my post in it?

More Red
(The layout titled 'You' shows the same girl as the first photo here. How did that happen in 5 years? )
Slight change? But how good is scrapbooking when you can look back at moments like this. Red moments!

RED ...
Good morning friends of SAG!
For the next few weeks we are going to post layouts specific to one colour - a week at a time. Starting today, the colour for this week is -
RED
We may or may not be following the colours of the rainbow, we will see .. kraft is not a colour in the rainbow, but it is bound to make an appearance at some stage!
So, let's get things started.
Red appears frequently on my pages as it is one of my favourite colours, so, my photos often have red in them. I like red in titles and red cardstock - though, I am using red less as a background colour as it's pretty strong and my style is a little more muted these days. I have a few red digital papers, not as many as I would have thought, but I am still building my digital supplies.
Okay, drop back during the week and you will see a variety of pages using red. In the meantime, I have to get creative as one of the colours coming up starts with a p and ends with a k, and it's not a colour I use frequently!
Bye :-)

a bit more red....
After Amy's great post on the red shoes 2 posts ago, I was totally inspired to post this. A collection of little photos taken from around my house. My house doesn't look this red, it is actually very neutral with white walls and a neutral toned couches and kitchen etc, but I do add bits of red and green here and there. Here I've highlighted the red bits....
This is a cool idea, because it is a nice memory for my kids when they grow up, all the bits around our home. I would love to do a 'i see green' layout, and white, and aqua blue, all favourite colours that I could single out in a photo if I looked around here hard enough. They would be a great collection of layouts.
Anyone else want to give this concept a go, in the colour of your choice of course!

PS In case anyone has double clicked and inspected the layout up close, the bottom left hand corner shows a photo of a book titled "A Students Handbook of Housewifery'. Don't panic, someone gave it to me as a laugh, and most likely because it was red. It's old, at least 60 years, and it sits on my kitchen windowsill. I think it's very cute. Maybe I should read it.........
