I found scrapbooking about 6 years ago after many years of searching for a craft. I’ve always been creative but could never find something that fit with me and always felt that none of it really had a purpose. When I found scrapbooking it was the perfect thing for me. I’d always loved photography and had hundreds (well probably thousands!) of photos in boring old albums with no story, or even date in most cases. Scrapbooking solved that problem as well as my need for a creative outlet. It had a purpose and I loved that about it! I was lucky enough to be taught by the very talented Nicole… her simple style suited me perfectly!
I admit to being a little (well more like a lot!) obsessed with patterned paper. I have way more sheets of it than I’ll ever use. Apart from patterned paper, I use a brad or flower here and there, but for me it is all about telling the story and recording our memories. Scrapbooking is my passion and I love sharing it with everyone!
I have a very busy life…I have three gorgeous children (8 year old twins, Jacob and Ella and a 6 year old son, Noah), a wonderful husband and I work a few different jobs, one of which is as an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. Check out my blog for more info on Stampin’ Up! I live in the Southern suburbs of Sydney and have a very full, but happy life.
I’d love for you to stop by my blog (www.emmakirton.blogspot.com) and say hi!
