Project Life

Each year in the scrapping world there seems to be a "latest trend". I think am pretty safe in say this years seems to be Project Life. There are so many scrappers out there joining the PL community and so many ideas floating around blog world. I have to be honest I have spent many hours checking out a heap. There is everything for the super simple to highly embellished variations. I was bait overwhelmed with the ideas and found myself spending more time look at other PL than I did actually doing my own. I have now banned  myself from looking at all but a few favourites :)

I first did Project Life in 2010 and I love what I have as a result. (I missed last year as I wasn't able to get a hold of the kit...the scrapping world can be cruel to us Aussies!)

Here are a few speeds from my 2010 album...

I kept it all very simple and just used the kit.

I included some photos of the kids paintings and tried to include a photo of me at least once a month.

I also got the kids involved in the journalling.

This year I am going ok...a few gaps to sort out but here are my first few pages.

Yep...I have a photo missing I keep forgetting to get printed.

This year I am planning to include some other pages. This will be the family album from now.
Here I have added a page using an Ali template as I have soooo many holiday photos
and just wanted to include a few more.

Again I sticking close to just the kit. I will add a few extra bits here and there...but not to much.

Are you doing project Life? If so we would love to visit if you are blogging and say hi so leave a link.

Edited to add: For Aussies Project Life is available here.

In theory I'm doing PL but the kti has not arrived in UK yet!!! so I am saving ephemera, writing on journal cards and editing photos each week ready to put them all in eventually. I'll blog it when I get the page protectors
