Some Christmassy Things!

Hi Everyone, I know its amazing, I'm here and posting! Life has been so hectic and there has been no time for scrapping. I am planning on getting a heap of scrapping done after Christmas so I should have some more layouts to show you then.

In the meantime, I thought I'd show you some Christmassy things I've been making, some I've made for this Christmas, a couple of other things are favourites from last year!

First up a couple of very simple gift tags. A couple of stamps and a nice ribbon is all it takes. I've stamped off the edge of the paper to give them a more modern feel.

Next up a cute card...very simple as with my scrapbook layouts! Simple is best though, especially if you are producing a bunch of cards on mass!

These cute little milk cartons are made with the Stampin' Up! Big Shot Die Cutting machine. If you don't have one of these, do a google search for milk carton templates and you will find heaps of options. These ones I made last year with chocolates inside for teachers at school. This year I'm going to make some more and use them as place settings on the Christmas table and fill them with mints or chocolates and put a name on the front.

Lastly another card. Again its very simple in its design with a couple of stamps and this time I've just used some white bakers twine to give it something extra plus a few little bling jewels in the middle of the flower. Love the bling!

I'd love to see some Christmassy things you have been doing. Leave a link to your blog so we can all check out some Christmas ideas!

Thanks, Emma.

  1. ah, emma how I wish I were doing christmassy things, but no so. Am considering some baking - rum balls and most delicious brownies - to bottle and pretty up and give away as a gift, so might have to crack out some supplies to pretty them up!
(and nice to see you back!)

The one "ah ha" moment I got when looking at your pictures was ... mat your tags! They look SO much better but I've never thought of doing that! THANK YOU!
