I used to scrap only in 12 x 12. I still like the size but haven't done it for a while. Maybe I will this week. Some of my favourite pages are 12 x 12. My albums are mix of 12 x12, 8.5 x 11in both landscape and portfolio, divided page protectors and some 8 x 8. I love the mix of sizes.
This page appeared in Simple Scrapbooks a few years ago. Have I mentioned that I love the timelessness of simple pages.
What is your favourite size to scrap?
(I know I am a day late SAGs...sorry xxxx)
Diane
I love the mixture of both pages in my albums (once I realised how liberating it was!) and like to do both - 12x12 gives lots of space for both photos and journaling, while I find the 8.5x11 very quick to put together (especially as its so easy to print journaling)
ReplyDeleteand look at that pudgy little girl...how much she has grown!
Love this page...the design and colours!!
ReplyDeleteI mix 12x12 and 8.5x11 in my albums, it was like a bell went off in my head the day I read Ali Edwards say it was ok to mix sizes in the one album :)
I whack them all in together too - makes life so much easier!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite size to use is the 8x10/8.5x11 but breaking out with a 12x12 every now and then is still fun ... just don't ask me to make a double page - they don't agree with me!
Great page Di. I am the same, I do a mix of 12x12 and 8.5x11. I find that some photos work better with one size over the other.
ReplyDeleteLove it. Love the photos and that orange pp is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI mix it all up in my d ring albums.
ReplyDeleteLayouts for photobooks I prefer rectangle shape
Recently I've been doing a lot of4 x 6 or 5 x 7 - photo with overlay and writing on top or some other decoration or half photo, half writing with decoration as a set of 'this makes me happy' pieces. I add this into my album in divided page protectors
love the page, Im a 12x12 scrapper
ReplyDeleteGREAT Page, love the colours, love the 12 x 12ness
ReplyDeleteI like a mix of sizes too, but often stick them onto plain white cardstock, whatever the layout size originally. I'm experimenting with not having page protectors because I like the interactivity of flaps and pull outs.
