Saturday Sketch

Hello everyone, and welcome to this fine Saturday. My turn to give you a sketch to get you scrapping this weekend.

As usual, its very simple. Remembering that not every square or space has to be filled with something, as I will show you below.  This started off with a template from CZ, but as I tweaked and twiddled to suit my needs, I realised that end result was pretty much NOTHING like the starting point!
cowboys sketchyep, pretty simple and straight forward, and could well lend itself to some colour blocking (and o/t I could really some pf those pinterest colour boards for inspiration when I do a sketch, couldn't I?!) Anyhow, this is what I ended up with.....

I've been trying to put into practise some of the ideas from Ten Tips for Better Type, alas PSE and I don't seem to be on the same page at the moment! Does anyone else have issues with their software suddenly doing, or NOT doing something, all by itself? Right now, mine has decided that it won't listen to my arrow keys when I want to nudge something along just a wee bit

I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with! (don't forget to linky up, or even just leave a comment with the link to your page!)

  1. Your journling is hilarious - I thought he might have thought he was going to see horse riding cowboys!

  2. great reminder that you don't need to fill every block - the white space really balances the LO

  4. In some versions of PSE the arrow keys can get 'stuck' in the effects panel. If you shutdown PSE (preferably the whole computer too!) the reopen the file and try nudging again before touching the effects panel it should work. PSE 8 is notorious for this bug - hope this helps!

Also try shift+arrow key for a slIghtly bigger nudge
