Using up Scraps

Hi All, sorry I have been missing in action. Things have been crazy around here! I was meant to do a post yesterday and I am ran out of time, so I'm stopping in quickly before today's post goes up!! Hope you all don't mind. It is also something a bit different to normal!

I thought I'd show you a great way to use up patterned paper scraps. As you know I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator so I also make cards. The card below is so, so quick and easy to do. It uses up your scraps and looks pretty impressive too! If you don't have stamps for a sentiment, then you could just print something from the computer, or leave the sentiment off. anyway, here is the card...

Give it a go! This would be a quick and easy option for Christmas cards too using some Christmassy colours or paper!

  1. Gorgeous card, Emma, I did one a bit similar just yesterday - might post it on the bottom of your post later today. Thanks for posting - I so relate to the crazy life of work and family!

  2. I don't mind at all that you are posting a card - especially one like this Emma!
At this time of the year I love to see some great examples of beautiful and simple cards, I do like to make my Christmas cards but I think I am stuck in a rut regarding the design ... I am happy for you to post a few ideas!

Good luck with the work/life/family balance - when you have the secret, please pass it on!

  3. the whole thing is just stunning, love the paper combination...and no reason why you couldn't also use some scraps of paper in a similar way across a layout.
