After being away for a couple of weeks, I am inundated with photos and stories, but overwhelmed with knowing where to start. Luckily I am more than happy to find inspiration from my immediate surrounds, and even luckier still, Nicole posted a great sketch over the weekend.
All of my papers are from Oscraps.
We've had some great spring weather down here in Australia, my two were ocean swimming on this day and I'm sure you'll see a page about that soon too .... this event sort of took over that day though!
gorgeous colours in the sky Amy, sometimes its hard to translate that onto the camera! what an exciting day at the beach (I was driving at Mission Beach and nearly went off the road busy watching paragliders as well!)
ReplyDeleteWow. That looks amazing! I am so busting to print some enlargements (boy that word shows my age!) and do a whole heap of versions of that layout. I really like that aqua and the blue together!
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, we must have been typing at precisely the same time!
ReplyDeleteLove your colours you have chosen to go with the photo.
ReplyDeleteSo does that mean you didn't get to talk to them and see the chute up close and be a part of it all? (I mean other than almost being landed upon). And hey, they have some steering capability with those chutes... you think they landed on top of you purposefully???
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful photo. And your story reminds me of my friend who used to paraglide. She loved it but was not overly adept at landing. One time she too landed in someone's picnic.
ReplyDeleteEventually she was forced to quit her sport on her Dr's advice - one more bad landing and she risked never walking again. Calm, peaceful, beautiful yes, but also dangerous.
Great LO Amy....and glad you took the time (hey! you're a scrapbooker- of course you would!) to get that great shot!
ReplyDeleteAlison xx
Great shot! I love the way you've used that block of pink, it works so well, but it would never have occurred to me!
ReplyDeletePerfect for that big beautiful photograph
ReplyDeleteLove this layout and the mauve(?)to mat the journaling really makes it hold it's own agt that gorgeous blue sky.
ReplyDeleteAmy, this is gorgeous :) That sky!! And I love Nicole's sketch, I must do something with it myself :)
