A true hybrid page, about the fantastic school camp my daughter went on to North Keppel Island (in the Whitsundays, Qld! Hello! I'm going along next time!) I did the page using a template from CZ (top image) but after I printed it out at home on photo paper, I realised that I didn't want a white background. I cropped and plonked it onto some 12x12 blue , add some brads and called it done. Turned a double 8.5 x 11 into a 12x12, and I love it.
I have loved this from the moment I laid eyes on it :)
ReplyDeleteI agree Di, this is one of my favourites of Sharon's! :-) The kraft and the blue are two of my favourite colours.
ReplyDeleteWow spectacular. What a great main photo. Makes me want to head north to warmer waters....
ReplyDeleteOh LOVE this...perfect for lots of photos and it doesn't look too cluttered or busy. Definitely have to remember this layout.
ReplyDeleteLove this site and the layout! Working on a Disney scrapbook and just figured out last night (after doing 5 pages) that I could use digital templates to print out the pics, cut and put them on paper to make hybrid pages. If I'd only seen your post sooner.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant - looks great against that blue. I'm a fan of double-page spreads ...
